About Me

Hannah Gonzalez is a film director and TV producer who has been writing all her life and has a deep investment in human rights and environmental equality. In 2022, she won a $40k grant from CNY Arts to direct a mockumentary short film called Dread Count, about a man in college who believes he’s a ghost. Draped in a blue bedsheet, he stalks his campus in his search for “the one” to haunt. Hannah also has experience producing television spots at WCNY - PBS, rigging DMX-controlled lighting on studio rail systems, and live-streaming city council meetings.
